Rental Policy

Our showroom is open by appointment only. Please confirm all showroom appointments in advance. 

If you’re ready to place an order, please follow our guidelines and policies below. 

ORDER PLACEMENT 

Please submit your order request via email to patricia@propaganderprops.com. If you prefer, you can call us directly at 631-604-8223 during business hours. We do not require a minimum order. Once we receive your order request, we will review availability and email you a quote in return. 

Any props that are specially designed and ordered for a specific event must be paid in full at the time of confirmation of acceptance. 

ORDER CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT 

Once you’re ready to confirm your order, we require a 50% deposit along with a credit card for the balance due three (3) days prior to delivery. Due to high demand and actuating inventory, we recommend that you place your order as soon as possible to secure your favorite items. We cannot guarantee the availability of items until the deposit is made. 

All major credit cards, checks and cash are accepted. There is an additional 3.5% fee added for all credit card purchases.

ORDER ADJUSTMENTS

Once the order is confirmed, adjustments are allowed for up to 50% of the original deposit and must be confirmed in writing no later than 5:00 pm EST, three days (5) prior to delivery. 

RENTAL PERIOD 

The standard rental period is for the set event (1) day. Depending on availability, rental periods may be extended or customized based on the event and will be subject to increased rental fees.


DELIVERY AND PICK UP 

Due to the fragile nature of our inventory, we require that a Prop A Gander crew member deliver and pick up the majority of our orders. Delivery fees vary based on the location of the event. Delivery quotes will be provided during order placement and confirmation. 

After delivery, The client accepts all risk for the delivered props for the duration of the agreed-upon rental period until items are loaded onto the Prop A Gander truck for return. 

In preparation for return, all dishes and glassware need to be scraped free of food and debris and repacked in the original delivery container. Linens need to be refuse-free and dry to prevent staining and mildew. A charge will be assessed for all damaged, lost or broken items.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders may be cancelled up to ten (10) days prior to delivery by 5:00 p.m. EST, without a fee, as long as the cancellation is in writing and acknowledged by Prop A Gander. 

Orders may be cancelled up to three (3) day prior to delivery by 5:00 p.m. EST, with a 50% cancellation fee (50% of the cost of original order), with payment due immediately, as long as the cancellation is in writing and acknowledged by Prop A Gander. 

Orders cancelled after 5:00 pm EST the day of delivery, will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Orders that have been delivered will be charged 100%, regardless of whether the event is cancelled and equipment is used or not.
Special order items, once confirmed from the vendor and by the client, will be charged 100% if cancelled, or quantity is reduced

LOST OR DAMAGED PROPS AND EQUIPMENT 

Clients are fully responsible for equipment from the time of delivery to the time of pick-up. Clients are also responsible for verifying equipment counts on delivery and pick-up. Charges will be assessed for all missing, lost, stolen or damaged props and equipment. 

CLIENT PROPERTY 

Prop A Gander is not responsible to clients or any third party for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from, or in any way attributable to the operation of, use of, or any failure of the rental items. This includes damage to hardwood, tile, marble, limestone, slate, sandstone, tennis/ sport courts, driveways, walkways, foliage, gutters, doors, windows, etc. 


Note: Client is defined as the person or persons renting the props.
